Inside Centennial Schools
December 1, 2023
Connecting. Achieving. Preparing.
Congratulations to the 2023 6A State Champs!
Congratulations to the Centennial High School football team and coaches on winning the 6A state championship! Centennial clinched the title in a final match-up against Edina in the Prep Bowl. Centennial has appeared in six state tournaments and was a Class A runner-up in 1984. A shout out to our student athletes who excel off and on the field, to our student fan base and cheerleaders for your support, and to our community for showing up to cheer on the team. The stands were filled at US Bank, helping set a record at a Prep Bowl game. Thank you for your support this year as well as throughout the years of the program. #rollcougs

Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick, Dr. John Watson, have left on an extended holiday throughout Europe, leaving their nieces (Shirley Holmes and Jennie Watson) to keep an eye on the famous flat at 221B Baker Street. This comic thriller is inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novel and adapted and dramatized by Kent R. Brown.
Performance Schedule

December 2 & 3: 1:00 PM
Location: Centennial High School Performing Arts Center
Path Through Centerville Elementary Closed During School Hours
The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. In order to make the school playground and ball field areas more secure at Centerville Elementary, the path that runs through the property will be closed during school hours. Signage is posted on the path, and we wanted to make the Centennial community aware of the reason behind the closure.
The decision to add signs and restrict usage of the path during school hours is not related to any specific issues that have happened to date. As a district, we have been working with our local safety partners on school safety strategies and this was a recommendation that has come from our ongoing work together. Thank you for your cooperation!
