Want to be a Panther Mentor next school year!? Attend the informational meeting to receive information for how to apply and details of the program.

• When: Wednesday March 29 during PantherPride
• Where: Fine Arts Center
• Who: All current sophomores and juniors interested in applying
• *Current junior Panther Mentors must attend the meeting and re-apply

Forms for outside SLPHS guests to our 2023 Prom are now available in the main office.

Any students 16 or older can volunteer to donate blood during the drive next Thursday in the Kenneth Hall Gym, with parent permission. If you would like to donate blood, please use the link to sign-up and grab a permission form in the cafeteria this week during your lunch and bring it with you to your donation appointment.

Our annual Career and College Fair will take place on April 6th from 11-1:30 in the Aux. Gym. Stop by and check out the vendors and booths!

• Braden Ripken became the 4th State Champion in school history winning the 50 free in a time of 20.69 at the State Swim meet. He was also 5th in the 100 breast.
• Ripken was joined by teammates Sam Clark, Isaiah Frei and Carson Holmquist as they placed 11th in the 200 Medley Relay and 13th in the 200 Free Relay
  
• Clark also placed 16th in the 200 IM
  
• Sebastian Santiago was 15th in diving

The Spring Lake Park High School Local Scholarship application went live on Wednesday, March 8. The application will have a final closing deadline of March 29, 2023 - no exceptions.

To be considered for a scholarship, the student must submit their application by the due date and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Scholarships are awarded based on: grade point average, course rigor, school/community involvement and a student’s essay.

To access the application:

• Students log into Naviance via clever
• In right hand corner, click on About Me
• Select Surveys from My School
• Select Local Scholarship Application

Our scholarship funds can be used for any 4-year, 2-year or certificate program. Announcements of scholarship winners will be during our annual Senior Scholarship and Awards night, May 17, 2023.
