The State Support Team Region 5 will be hosting teams interested in embarking on a year-long series to empower teams and enhance each child's outcomes! This series is intended for district and school teams that include leaders in the following areas: Attendance, Early Learning, Literacy, Math, PBIS, and Special Education.

This network is an opportunity for early learning leaders (birth to age 8) across the region to engage with one another in exploring and discussing program improvement through the lens of a Multi-Tiered System of Support for Young Children. We will cover topics that include teams, data, data-based decision-making, tiered support, and evidence-based interventions. These topics will also be covered in more depth in the morning Empowering Teams Elevating Outcomes series (see flier above). The network series will provide the resources and tools for preschool programs to begin or improve implementation. Participants may attend the Early Learning Network either virtually or in person.

Early Learning Leadership Network Padlet

The Child Outcomes Summary process is a required team report compiled by the early learning intervention specialist for students on their roster who have a preschool individual education program (IEP).

Initial Child Outcomes Summary Training (6 OA hours total)

The Initial Child Outcomes Summary Training consists of Part 1 and Part 2. Participants must register for and complete both parts in order to be considered fully trained. This is a required training for all early learning intervention specialists who support and provide services to children with Individual Education Plans (IEPs). It is also highly recommended for new early learning supervisors.
