Why should you become a DAACE member?
Many of us ask this question when becoming a member of an organization, sometimes we join because we have a commitment to its purpose. DAACE has a commitment to adult education and its purpose is to promote and provide opportunities for professional development and encourage citizen involvement for advocating legislative and public support for the advancement of adult, continuing, and community education.
Other times we join an organization because it can offer us outstanding value. Only members have the opportunity to attend DAACE activities and apply for mini-grants and scholarships. All DAACE members automatically become members of COABE (Commission of Adult Basic Education.)
