Pirates Post
Week of January 3rd
Message from Principal Drew...
We mark the beginning of the second semester as we welcome students back to school this week.
Monday and Tuesday are teacher workdays. Students will not attend school on these two days.
Wednesday we welcome students back to school as they begin new classes for the second semester. Parents we encourage you to help your student get off to a great start this semester by making sure they attend school daily, arrive on time, complete all of their assignments, and study for each class often. A consistent approach in these areas will allow your student to be successful with less stress throughout this semester.
As we return to school please be reminded that masks are required in all settings in Perquimans County Schools. This includes while riding a bus, moving in the hallways, and in each classroom.
Our basketball teams will play at home on Tuesday versus Washington County and on Wednesday our JV and Boys Varsity basketball play at home versus John A. Holmes. On Friday, our basketball teams will travel to Tarboro. Our swim team has a meet this Friday. Good luck to each of our teams as they compete this week.
This is a short week. Take advantage of the short week to get off to a great start and set the tone for highly successful semester in all classes.
Thanks for listening. Have a great week. Go Pirates!
