Total Number Served on LHR Campus = 299

Our LHR One Act Play team competed in the District Championship last week and put on a great performance of Peter and the Star Catcher. Individual award winners were:

• Quinn Passanisi - All Star Cast
• Tristan Thompson - Honorable Mention All Star Cast
• Sydney Sampson - All Star Crew

A new tradition was born this year at LHR! The teachers and staff spent time in the afternoon of our half day and over their Thanksgiving breaks to transform LHR into a Winter Wonderland! The students LOVE IT, and I am happy to report that they have taken great pride in their school decorations. It looks just as good today as it did the Monday we returned from Thanksgiving break.

On Thursday, December 8th our LHR bands took the stage at BHS for their Winter Concert. The students were dressed festively, and the music was fantastic. Our new LHR band director (Macey Dickson) along with Mr. Willard have done a fantastic job with these young men and women!

Our new Principles of Hospitality and Tourism teacher, Mrs. Hughes, has done a wonderful job getting students excited about her class. This year they had "Friendsgiving" in which they cooked and created a Thanksgiving feast to enjoy together. I can personally attest that the food was fantastic, and the students had a great time!
