Potential Internet Disruption

I am sharing the following information for your awareness.

As we head toward Winter Break later this week, I want to make you aware of a potential disruption to district wide internet connectivity on Tuesday, December 19, and Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

A scheduled infrastructure update at the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) may cause internet and network outages for all West Virginia school systems. Our schools are aware of this potential disruption and have planned accordingly. We appreciate your patience and understanding as school email accounts and similar services could be affected.

Thursday, December 21st: 2-hour early release day Faculty Senate meetings. No school for students Friday, December 22, 2023, through Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Students will return on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

STAFF:

Thursday, December 21st: 2-hour early release for Faculty Senate meetings. No school for staff* Friday, December 22, 2023, through Monday, January 1, 2024. Staff will return on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 for a Professional Learning Day.
