Beekeepers Association of the Ozarks
2024 Honey Jar Orders
Greetings fellow apiary adventurers, beekeeping buddies, and honey harvesters:
Well it is wintertime, which means you can sit back, maybe relax a little, and really start planning out your 2024 Bee year. Think of all the things you will get to experience and do, plan for expanding your operation or dream of your first honey harvest. So as you think on that, you should really consider stocking up and preparing your supplies now, which include your honey jars. Remember - July is not the “jar buying time” that is the “jar having, jar filling time”! So, GET YOURS NOW! Thanks to the help of some of our fellow members. We will once again be coordinating a group order through the Arkansas Glass Company.
This year’s RULES are a bit different:
All orders must be a minimum of 5 cases with lids. 12 jars and lids per case.
Payment must be made in advance of order pickup. More to come on that.
Size options and price per case:
½ pint, 8oz, straight side - $6.00/case**
Pint, 16oz mayo tall- $7.00/case**
Quart, 32oz mayo - $10.00/case**
Lids: Lids will be automatically included and added to your order. Price per case is $2.28. So add that to the case price above.
HOW TO ORDER? – That’s easy. Call, text, or email Randall Willoughby! (info below)
Payment – Funds will be collected in advance this year. Cash and check is accepted. Checks will be made payable to Beecharmer Farms. If you want to pay electronically that can be arranged, just call.
Considerations - This is a huge undertaking on the part of a few individuals; when considering a full day travel, loading, hauling, (listening to bad jokes in the car) and setting up the pickup location. A donation on your part for those taking this on would be greatly appreciated.
Getting your goods - Once the order is placed and pickup date set, you will be notified where and when the pickup location will be. Sorry folks…want door delivery you might consider Amazon. Kidding…sort of. Things can be worked out if situation absolutely necessitates.
The other Fine Print -
**Prices are based on half pallet orders. Meaning – case quantities less than a half pallet load may result in different pricing. Do not let this sway your decision yet. Send your request in and we will figure out the total prior to order placement. Your 5 cases may just be what we need to hit that sweet spot.
**These jars/lids are not recommended for canning.
