Dear St. Anne Parents,

Our May 14th 5K Walk A Thon is just a month away. Our 5K Walk A Thon is the only mandatory fundraiser that we hold. Knowing that, I would like to ask every parent to please be sure to get your mandatory minimum pledge of $150.00 per child sent in ASAP. Understanding that this year is an unusual year, our 5K Walk chairs have been working extra hard to make this year's fundraiser as fun and memorable as possible. In addition to your financial contributions, we need YOUR HELP in volunteering to chaperone our classes on the walk to and from Golden Gate Park. To volunteer to chaperone, all you need to do is to go to our school's homepage and scroll down to the bottom right hand side of the page and click on the "Volunteer Sign Up" link. Thanks for helping to make this 5K a fun adventure for everyone.

Please join us for our first SAPTO meeting of the year next Monday at 7:00. The slate of officers for our coming 2021-2022 school year will be presented to those SAPTO families in attendance for approval and vote. In addition, future plans for SAPTO events and happenings will be discussed. Hope to see everyone there.

TADS is a financial aid program that is linked with the Archdiocese and offers tuition assistance to qualified families whose child(ren) is/are newly enrolling in a Catholic or private school for the first time in the coming year. They are now accepting applications for those seeking tuition assistance. The deadline for applications is tomorrow, April 15, 2021.

Re-registration for the 2021-2022 school year is now closing. Our re-registration process is being handled through SMART Tuition this year and moving forward. SMART Tuition will send a re-registration invoice noting the $350.00 per child in addition to your monthly tuition fee. If you wish to pay your re-registration fee separately, you may do so by contacting SMART Tuition via the "Parent Contact Center". Registration fees are due no later than this Friday, April 16.

If a family is not returning to St. Anne School, please email Mrs. Finnegan at Finnegan@stanne.com indicating that your child(ren) will not be returning in August. If you would like to discuss any issue with Mr. White, please send an email to White@stanne.com.

We are still needing crossing guards for grades 2-6. Please consider volunteering to assure the safety for these classes when crossing the street. You also get to wear a cool neon vest and use a stop sign to direct your designated class while crossing the street. Sign up through SignUp.com (link is at the bottom of St. Anne’s website).

Please also let us know if your child will be participating in the Walk-a-thon in-person or remotely by April 23rd. You may inform your child’s teacher, so they know to expect a permission form for in-person participants.

April 19: Early birds who meet this year’s goal and submit donations by this date will receive a homework pass

April 23: Permission forms (found on the last page of the Walk-a-thon packet) due to teachers

May 14: Deadline for match gifts to arrive; submit match requests ASAP to ensure your employer has time to process and send payment to St. Anne to receive a homework pass

I am sorry to announce that our school will not be offering a summer program this year. This difficult decision was arrived at after much discussion. Thank you for your understanding.

CURRENT SIXTH GRADE PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE: All incoming 7th graders are required by law to have proof of a whooping cough booster (Tdap) shot on file in our school office. Please be prepared. Start your planning by calling your child's doctor and get an appointment to have your 6th grader vaccinated early. All incoming seventh grade students MUST have their TDAP vaccination BEFORE the first day of school.

CURRENT SEVENTH GRADE PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE: If you did not have your next year's eighth grader vaccinated for TDAP this past year, every eighth grader must present proof of having been vaccinated for TDAP BEFORE they can start in August.

Despite the present difficult circumstances, we will be having a yearbook as in other years. The content will be a little different than usual with limited activities but it is a year to be remembered. It can be ordered through Beverly Perea for $30. Download the form and send it to school with your child. If you are doing Distance Learning, you can mail it to the school with your check or drop it off on the bookshelf at the top of the stairs at the main entrance to the school.

If you have a child who will be starting Kindergarten next year, please fill out his/her application and send it to Mrs. Finnegan as soon as possible.
