After School Activity Registration
Registration for Spring After School Activity courses at DW opens at 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, and closes at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, or until filled. Please use the RevTrak Web Store platform to register for all programs listed here. Programs do fill up and are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Classes begin after school the week of April 3 and run for about six weeks. Please visit the After School Activities website for detailed information about these clubs.
Anime: On Tuesdays, students share their appreciation for all different Japanese animation. Students will continue the series they started in the winter session and dip into other different series as well.
Art: On Tuesdays, students develop their creative skills and create original artwork.
Chamber Orchestra: On Mondays, students will play chamber orchestra music and explore advanced music.
Digital Audio Production: On Thursdays, students will record and edit music and podcasts using digital audio workstations.
Fiber Arts: On Thursdays, students will learn to sew, quilt, knit, crochet, and more.
Game Club: On Thursdays, students have the opportunity to participate in team-building activities, which include the following: card games, board games, and video games.
Go Green Club: On Tuesdays, students participate in mini projects to raise awareness about how to be environmentally friendly. This year we will focus on the importance of planting trees to help the environment.
History Club: On Wednesdays, students, who enjoy all areas of history, will have an opportunity to expand their history knowledge.
Puzzled!: On Thursdays, students in grades 6-7 will learn new skills and enjoy time together doing jigsaw puzzles. Take a break from those screens and get lost in a puzzle!
SCILabs: On Mondays, SCILabs is a student organized club for grades 6-7 that wants to experiment with SAFE activities and engineer projects to progress a student’s learning with science and engineering.
Special Olympics*: On Tuesdays, students will learn to prepare the athletes for the Special Olympics Spring Track & Field games. *starts March 7th.
STEAM: On Thursdays, students in grades 7-8 will expand their STEM knowledge by learning about various topics like physics, anatomy, genetics, and more.
Warhammer Alliance: On Wednesdays, students will dive into epic sci-fi and fantasy works 40,000 years in the future. Join fellow tabletop enthusiasts crafting, painting, and playing one of the most popular miniatures games in the world.
