Principal Message
I hope you all enjoyed our last little bit of warm weather over the weekend. I had a great time playing outside with my kids.
Our students did an amazing job at our Jaguar Jog! They motivated and encouraged their peers and they all tried hard to do their best.
Please remember that there is no school this Friday!
Take care,
Cheryl Marshall
Principal

October 31st - Super Hero Day!
For Halloween, students need to leave costumes at home. The only students able to bring costumes to school are our Kindergartens, so they can wear them for our annual Kinder Parade. If your Kinder plans on participating, they can bring their costume in their backpack and change into it before the parade.
October 31st is an assembly and spirt day. Since the focus for this month is self-awareness, our dress up day is Super Hero Day!
Rules around dress up days:
No masks, face paint, weapons, gore or guts.
Pick-up Request
If you are picking up your student in a vehicle, we are requesting that you put your student's name and teacher on a piece of paper. Please put on your dash, so the staff doing pick-up duty can read it. With that said, it will need to be large enough for us to see. We think this would help with speeding up the process. Thank you for working with us to make things more efficient.
Picture Day
Picture day this year will be October 18th and retakes will take place on December 5th. More information will be sent home with your student in the coming weeks.
PTA Corner
Please join us for our PTA meeting on Wednesday at 7pm in the school library.
We raised $16,345 for our Jaguar Jog!! These funds go toward field trips, clubs and community events! Way to go Jaguars! Please check with your employer to see if they will match your donation! Jackson Elementary School PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization.

This year at Fall Festival we will have two food truck options, concessions, Kona Ice, face painting, games, crafts, music and a scare room put on by our fabulous sixth graders! The best news is entrance is FREE! The only thing that you will need money for is food. Kids are encouraged to dress up, but please do not bring weapons.
