Greetings Colts Families,
This past Tuesday, we had the pleasure of hosting Roosevelt Rush, a fantastic event where our 8th graders got a sneak peek into the myriad of programs, clubs, and activities that ERHS has in store for them. It's all part of our mission to ensure a seamless transition to high school, and the energy and enthusiasm were truly inspiring. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated parents, students, and staff for your unwavering support of our tardy policy. Your efforts are making a tangible difference in our classrooms, with teachers reporting fewer interruptions and more focused learning time.
All 7th and 8th grade parents, you should have received a contract outlining clear behavior and academic expectations. This tool is designed to foster accountability and set the stage for success as we navigate the remainder of the academic year together.
Thank you to our Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams. With their guidance and support, we are confident that all students will have the opportunity to participate in the exciting activities planned for the second semester. Have a great week!
Warm regards,
Eva Isett, Ed.D.
Principal

We value safety
Parents and guardians, please know that our River Height's staff and faculty value our student’s safety and wellbeing. Our team has streamlined our reporting system to ensure students report incidents to staff. If your student has witnessed an incident and would like to submit a witness statement, please have them fill out the witness statement link below. Thank you parents and guardians for supporting us in creating a safe learning environment for our students.
Here are some of the cool happenings at RHIS
🖍 Many of our teachers donated their evenings and weekend to decorate our hallway bulletin boards in preparation for Black History Month.
🧮 Mrs. Teed, our mathematics teacher on special assignment celebrated all scholars who received an A, B or C in math last semester by awarding them a popsicle during lunch. Over 880 students received recognition! Thank you Mrs. Teed and our entire math department!
🏆 Congratulations to our science fair winners who will be moving on to the district fair. Congratulations to Sai Srinika Bomminebi, Ankitha Garuadapuri, and Tarini Siram!
🥁 Band performed for our Colts on Thursday during both lunches.
🧪 Mrs. Zammit's class learned about body systems on Friday!
🧬 Mrs. Dee did a cool neon activity with her students.
