2023-2024 School Registration Begins April 17th

Registration will be open and parents/guardians/caregivers of returning students starting April 17th. An email will be sent to you from Registration Support <noreply@noreply.psrsupport.com>. Please email registration@avoca37.org if you don't receive the email or if you have any questions.

**It's important to note that you should receive a separate email with the embedded "snapcode" for EACH returning student. Registration will be due May 30, 2023.

Marie Murphy Dress Code

After my last newsletter note about the dress code I received multiple emails asking why we are continuing with the current policy while we write a new one. I would like to share my reply with all of you so that we can continue on a partnership path between home and school.

Why do we have to sustain the existing policy?

As we collaborate to revise the policy, we still need guidelines in place so we have some shared understanding that helps us avoid conflict. While imperfect, the existing policy in the short term offers those guidelines.

What is the most common dress code infraction?

The highest infraction I support each day relates to the length of student's shorts. If the length of a student's shorts reveals private body parts as they walk in the halls or sit down in the classrooms then I will connect with them about changing into something that is more appropriate for a school setting.
