Student Recognition
Assistant Principal Katelyn Lima presents 3rd graders Tiara Wicker and Robert Ferris with a certificate of achievement for completing a level on Read Live (oral reading fluency program). Tiara's oral reading rate grew by 26 correct words per minute from September to October. Robert's oral reading rate grew by 16 correct words per minute from September to October! Way to go, Tiara and Robert! Keep up the great work!

Ms. Santos and Ms. Nunes
Students completed different STEM Halloween activities. The activities were: building a bridge, building a building, and making a catapult using Halloween candy and decorations.
Ms. Pascal's Preschool
Ms. Pascal's students got to learn about parts of a pumpkin using different modes of sensory.
RTI in Grade 1
RTI fun with Mrs Rennie and Mrs Fernandes/Mrs. Collins. Students can be seen segmenting the individual phonemes within the word "mat"
Ms. Maurer Grade 3
Third grade students were presenting "artifacts" as a part of our Social Studies unit...
Ms. Mason's Grade 3
Students enjoyed playing a Zones of Regulation game during morning meeting. Children took turns either reading scenarios or looking at picture cards to identify social emotional feelings.
Ms. Grillo's Grade 4
Students in Grade 4 have been learning about Structure and Function of Living Things in Science. Last week, we did an experiment with celery to examine the internal structures that help water travel through plants!
Halloween Safety Assembly
Students learned about Halloween Safety which can also be applied to other events students may take part in. Even Oakie participated by barking that he wanted to be a fireman for Halloween. A special Thank you to Dighton Police and Dighton Fire Departments.
Touch-A-Truck
This week our Preschool and Kindergarten students took part in the Dighton Fire Departments Touch-A-Truck. Students were taught about fire safety and had the chance to get on a real fire truck.
