We have had a fantastic GLO celebration today! A HUGE THANKS to you for your support and the many hours of volunteer time.

This coming week we are looking forward to three days of professional development in grades 3, 4, and 5. Teacher’s College will be conducting onsite training Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday working with our teachers in the area of Literacy. In addition, our fifth grade students go to Rock Eagle on Thursday and Friday.

Please remember to pre-purchase your tickets for Thanksgiving Lunch. We look forward to seeing you on November 19 or 20!

Join us for a traditional Thanksgiving meal at CCE with students in kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd on Tuesday, Nov. 19th and students in 2nd, 4th, and 5th on Wednesday, Nov. 20th.

Please purchase your tickets in advance. Only a limited number of tickets will be available on the days of the feasts. See the attached flyer for detailed information, feast day lunch schedules and an order form to purchase tickets. For your convenience, you may also purchase tickets online here.

We invite you to visit our Fall Scholastic Book Fair. Please see your child’s shopping time in the attached flyer. We welcome parents, grandparents, and friends to come and shop with their student(s) during their assigned time, on Family night or before/after school. Hours are 7:15am-3:15pm each day with extended hours on Family Night, Thursday, 11/21, until 6:45 pm.

We are in need of parent volunteers to assist our CCES Colts while they shop for books. All volunteers will receive a 10% discount on purchases at the Book Fair.

The annual food drive for North Fulton Community Charities sponsored by our CCE student ambassadors continues. Colts, please help us provide families with groceries this Thanksgiving. NFCC is in need of non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables and fruits; boxed or bagged potatoes, rice, stuffing mixes, baked goods, cans of gravy; boxed pasta mixes, biscuit mixes and bags of flour and cornmeal. The last day of our collection will be November 15th.

We are excited to announce our 2nd International Night at CCES on Friday January 24th, 2020. We had an such outstanding response from our families last year that we would like to showcase our diverse and global student body again. This is a great way for children to learn about other cultures and the world in which we all live. We invite everyone to participate and celebrate their own family heritage.

Due to the overwhelming success of this event, we are excited to announce we will be using the gym and the cafeteria for additional space to travel around the globe! If you are interested in participating by hosting a table at this fun educational event, contact either Trusha Patel or Kate Kim at coltsinternational@gmail.com.
