Thank you to all of the parents who came to our Fall Parade and participated in our Fall Revelries! The students looked adorable in their costumes and delighted in strutting their stuff! Remember Report Cards are in the ebackpack today. Please take a look. Bingo Night is tonight at 6:30 in the cafeteria. There are games, snacks and prizes for all! Thank you to our amazing PTO for hosting this annual fall favorite.

Please Join Us for the 2nd Annual Montgomery Elementary Chili Cook Off!!
The PTO is sponsoring its 2nd annual Montgomery Elementary Chili Cook Off. Winner will receive a gift card to the Aves Hanger Bookstore and of course bragging rights for the whole year long! There is only room for 8 entries so fill up the sign up genius fast! All chilis are in one category and our wonderful teachers will be the judges. Crock pots are to be dropped off to the school office on Thursday, November 16th before 4:00pm They need to be labeled with an entry name and chef, however the chef's name will be kept secret. Winner will be announced in the S'more on Friday, November 17th.

If chili isn't your thing we still have plenty of ways you can participate and help nourish our teachers while they stay late to hold conferences. Please see the sign up for chili accoutrements and desserts.

ART ROOM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Please don't forget to join us for Family Bingo Night, Friday, November 3rd 6:30-7:30pm. It will be a night of free family fun! Multiple games, prizes, and light snacks. All ages are welcome! The event will be held in the Montgomery Elementary Cafeteria. The Aves Hangar will also be hosting a pop-up shop so that you can get all your Aves gear for the year! This is not a drop off event. All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

There are lots of fun things coming up. Please be sure to mark your calendars!!
PTO MEETING - Our next general meeting will be on Thursday, November 9 @ 6:00pm. District Superintendent, Mr. Chad Lewis will be there to answer any questions you may have!! There will be pizza and childcare provided for those who need it. We will also be discussing our updated Bylaws, which will be posted online for review.
THANKSGIVING BREAK - November 20-24, no Personal Learning Days!
THEATER NIGHT - Frozen is coming December 1!!

Canned Food Drive
The canned food drive begins November 1st and will end on November 17, 2023. These cans provide needed food for families in our school and community during the holidays. Letβs all help take care of others by providing food to families who need our support. Please bring in Thanksgiving non-perishable foods starting November 1st. Other food items always needed are corn, green beans, peas, baked beans, fruit, soup, peanut butter, jelly, tuna, chicken, ravioli, beef stew, chili, pineapple, pasta, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, hamburger and tuna helper, and cereal.
