The activities today are about Pets. If you don’t have a pet use a toy. You don’t need a pet.
Here are some ideas:
1: Obstacle Course
Make an obstacle course for your pet or toy. It could have things they could jump over or crawl under. Use anything at all as the obstacles. Take a picture of each part of the course and describe it with Chatta.
2: Completing the course (with a pet or a toy!)
See if your pet will take part. Sometimes pets will follow a treat or a biscuit ( sometimes they won’t). Take a picture of them in action. Give them a prize at the end, maybe make a badge or rosette or give them a tasty treat.
Describe the action with Chatta.
You could make as many stories as you like with Chatta. If you want to turn any of them into a piece of writing explaining things - go for it (but you don't have to!)
Activity for younger children:
Looking after your pet (or toy/teddy)
Take photographs of the things needed to care for a pet. See if they can come up with the ideas. In your Chatta board add a simple description of each item together.
