In this presentation, participants will gain insight and understanding of how the Mental Health System of Care works, what the Mental Health statistics tell us, the impact of having a family member with a Mental Health diagnosis, and what resources are available.

Lisa Math serves as Director of Family STAR program (Support, Training, Assistance, and Resources) for Family Network on Disabilities. She is also a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS-F) with an endorsement in working with Families. Her most important role is that as a parent of a 24 year- old young adult who has multiple medical conditions and mental health challenges.
