Meadowlane Intermediate Mission

We will provide a safe and engaging environment every day so that all students will acquire lifelong learning skills that will enable them to be productive and successful citizens today, tomorrow and always!

Hello Parents and Families,

I hope you had a wonderful 3 day weekend! We have a full week of school ahead, and then we'll all be off for a week to enjoy the Thanksgiving break with families and friends.


I am so thankful for this Meadowlane community and wish you all a wonderful week of giving thanks and enjoying all that you are thankful for.

Thanskgiving Food Drive

Thank you to everyone who donated items to our Food Drive Competition. We collected a total of 471 items to donate to the Space Coast Basket Brigade!

3rd place goes to Ms. Olesnevich's class with 99 items. 2nd place goes to Ms. Barcelona's class with 107 items, and 1st place goes to Ms. Froment's class with 109 items donated!!

Great job Ms. Froment's class. Your class earned the donut party for the most items donated!!

SAC Meeting on Monday

We will have our November School Advisory Council Meeting on Monday, November 13th at 3pm in the Meadowlane Intermediate media center.

MIS Office Closed

We are excited to announce that the MIS Front Office will be getting new floors over the Thanksgiving Break! In order to get everything packed up and off of the floors, we will close our office early on Friday, 11/17 at 2pm.


Our office will remain closed throughout the Thanksgiving Break.


We will reopen on Monday, November 27 with our brand new floors!

Morning Mile (Running Club)

Morning Mile will be starting Monday, November 13th through February 29th. Each grade level will attend on separate days:

Sixth- Monday

Fifth- Tuesday

Fourth- Wednesday

Third- Thursday



We will run on the Central track from 7:20-7:40. . If your child is interested they should ask Mrs. Bobleter for a permission form. The first 25 students in each grade level to return a signed permission form will be accepted.

Science Fair Update

We are off to a great start as we are preparing for science fair experiments to begin!


Our next due date will be November 16th for the hypothesis, materials, and procedures. Please make sure that your child is recording all items in their science fair log. This should be traveling to and from school as they work on their projects.


Please be sure they are dating their daily log with each activity.


Once the hypothesis, materials, and procedures are checked, students are welcome to begin experimenting. The next log check will be Dec. 1, and data will not be checked until Jan. 11th.
