Principal's Message
It is hard to believe that we are in the last stretch of the school year already! While Summer Break is right around the corner, we are sprinting to the finish line. We have various events coming up in April but, before we preview what is to come, I want to take a moment to stop and "smell the roses."
PPHS students have steadily increased their regular daily attendance and decreased their tardies. To date, PPHS stands at 96% average daily attendance for Q3! This is a 2% increase from our previous gains in Q2. Additionally, PPHS students are arriving to school on time more often. We have seen a 9% decrease in tardies during Q3.
These numbers are so important because we know that students cannot learn if they are not in class. The inverse is true too which is why these promising numbers are cause to celebrate. Students can and will achieve academic success if they consistently attend school. This is why we are committed, with your help, to continue improving our attendance and building a positive climate and culture in which students want to be at PPHS.
The last quarter of the 22-23 School Year begins this month. Let's re-commit ourselves and help motivate our students to finish the school year strong!
With Tiger Pride!

Our first ever boys volleyball match took place this month as our Tigers, led by Coach Mac Iver, faced the Bergen Catholic Crusaders.
