Inclement Weather Policy: Effective Immediately
Schedule Change Policy: University School will close if Johnson City Schools close for inclement weather. University School will also close for inclement weather if ETSU closes. We will not make an announcement over the media due to the fact that saying University School will be closed is confusing to ETSU students. Instead we ask that students and parents/guardians be aware that we will close the school if Johnson City schools close. Some students live in areas where the weather may be worse than it is in town. If University School is open, but road conditions between your home and the school are dangerous, please do not put yourself at risk by attempting to drive to school. Call the office and inform us of your circumstances. On inclement weather days when Johnson City Schools are not regularly scheduled, announcements will be made through the media.

Parents of middle school girls interested in trying out for the University School middle school softball team please email Coach Preswood, Preswood@etsu.edu to let her know of your kiddo’s interest in playing. Tryouts will be held in February so be sure your kiddo has turned in their physical (dated this school year) and the cardiac and concussion forms into the office. (Links on Athletic Web page).
