Dungeons and Dragons Club starts this Friday after school 4-6 in the library! Fight dragons and save the world with your friends. D&D will meet weekly on Fridays for the rest of the year. See Ms. Dallas for questions.

There will be a table set up on Oct. 7th for those interesting in finding out more information on the Marines. Check them out in front of the library.

Pacific University will be here during Advisory on Oct. 8th. They will be set up by the library

The ASVAB will be offered Oct 15th. This assessment is a great career tool as well as a practice military entrance assessment. It is available for 10th-12th graders. Sign up today with Esther!

SAT Testing will be Oct. 16th. The cost is $56 and is due ASAP. Please let Esther know if you are interested.

If you are a Sophomore, Junior or a Senior, strongly consider being a member of the National Honor Society. Being a member shows that you are among the best students in your class, not just in terms of academics but also in terms of leadership, service, and character. REQUIREMENTS are having a GPA of 3.0 and above with prior experience in leadership and service activities in school and community. Being a member of NHS looks great on college applications and resumes. Mrs. Gores has candidate application forms if you are interested. Please fill them out and turn them into her by Friday, Oct.11th.

Join us on the NEW soccer field (outfield of the HS baseball field) on Tuesdays after school for a fun pickup soccer game! Grades 6-12 welcome, teams will be chosen by the players and will not have any officials. Games will end in time to take the activity bus. Let’s get ready for High School Soccer in 2026! Art Club begins today from 4:00-6:00 PM. You can ride the Activity Bus after club is over. Head over to Room 1, Ms. Marden's Room for an opportunity to practice art skills, develop community and have Fun. Finish the year with a portfolio for the Art Show and the Fair.

Chess club is coming to your school. Do you want to give yourself the advantages of chess: critical thinking, patience, and self-confidence? We will be meeting on Wednesdays from 4-6pm in the Middle School Library. Each meeting will consist of a short lesson followed by playing chess with other students in the club. First meeting is Wednesday, September 11th. See you there.

This chess club is open to High School and Middle School students.
