Message From The School Nurse
Please check for these symptoms each morning before sending your child into school. If you child has one or more of these symptoms please keep them home and monitor them. They should be symptom free for at least 24 hours without medication to return to school:
Temperature of 100F or higher
Frequent Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle/Body Aches
Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
Loss of tatse or smell
New onset headache or sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
If your child comes to school with any one or more of these symptoms you will be notified and they will be sent home immediately. Please make sure the office has updated contact information and remember to choose someone whom can come to the school within 15--20 minutes. If no one can be contacted on your list or no one can come get the child they may be sent to the ER, they cannot stay in school. Please make sure medical information is up to date and accurate on your child. We will work directly with the Lorain County Health Dept in our decisions to keep students safe and healthy this year.
