Wow! We want to express our gratitude to Mrs. Debbie Tubbergen for giving her time to set up, support, and even extend the evening hours in order to provide you and our students the time to shop at the book fair. Without her, this great event would not take place. Thank you Debbie, and thank you families for your contributions at the sale itself!

Vision screenings will be conducted for all students, K-5, on November 15th by the Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, and they will be using the Spot Vision Screener. Clackamas Community College student nurses will also be helping with both vision and hearing screenings.

Hearing Screenings will also take place on November 15th for grades K, 1, and 3.

If you would like to opt-out of either of these screenings, please call the school office.

In order to help you all know what the week looks like, we will list it out clearly for you each week. REID days for are invited students and will change each week. Students are invited to REID days for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it's to extend or challenge a student, and other times it might be to provide extra help on a particular skill. On those days, our doors open at 7:50 and dismissal is at 10:00am. If you have questions about this week's schedule, please let. us know!

We have a number of students who are arriving at school late each day. We really emphasize the importance of coming to school each day and on time to establish routine, consistency, and we don't want your child to miss important social and academic items that are so valuable to their school success. If there is a specific circumstance causing this for your family, please let us know so we can support you. Thank you.

It is important to us that all our students have what they need in regard to technology. We rely on technology on a consistent basis in the classroom. If you happen to have a device or charger at home from last school year, please send it back to school with your child as soon as possible. Thank you.

We know that weather can sometimes be unpredictable in Oregon and at times, students may need to access their learning from home for the day if we need to close school. In order for us to be prepared to best support you and your child, please take a couple minutes to fill out this technology survey so we can get you connected with the right items. Thank you!

Each month we choose to focus on one of our Standards of Excellence. Through this, we teach our students what it means to display these characteristics. Then we recognize members of our school community for exemplifying the trait. All of these help us to reach our school district's long term mission of equipping our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be resourceful and successful.
