June 21, 2022
The last two weeks of school are always a whirlwind of events and emotions. From Moving Up ceremonies to Graduation Day, we look on in awe at the growth of our students. As we wrap up the 2021-2022 school year, we know two things for sure. One, we could not be more proud of them. Two, time flies.

ELEMENTARY INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
Dear 3rd Grade Families,
All students are encouraged to elect to learn to play an instrument in our Elementary Band or Orchestra for their fourth and fifth grade year. At school, your child participated in a special presentation about joining our Band or Orchestra for the 2022/23 school year.
The district's Elementary Instrumental Music Teachers have prepared a video demonstrating all the band and orchestra instruments that are available to beginners. We would like to encourage you to watch this video with your child. With your guidance, your child should have the information to make a choice as to what instrument they would like to play next year.
Please download, read, and discuss the attached document with your child and complete the Online Instrumental Registration Form by Friday, June 17.
We are looking forward to seeing your child participate in the Instrumental Music Program next year. Please reach out to your school if you would like additional information about the program.

TIP OF THE WEEK: The College Essay Guy posted a great picture from Etsy on his Twitter. It says, "Don't compare your Chapter 1 to someone else's Chapter 20." That is great advice as we move into the summer and students work and complete the college application process. It is a process, and everyone moves at their own pace. Don't compare yourself with others!
