Hello Fronteras Families!
Welcome back to Quarter 4! We hope everyone had a relaxing and/or adventurous spring break! Students have been sharing the fun family activities and sporting events they were involved in – it’s amazing how much can be packed into one week. It’s great to have everyone back together!
We have a pretty mellow month; with PEAKS testing for grades 3-8 being the only addition to our calendar. Testing begins March 30th and ends April 1st.
If you plan to return to Fronteras next school year, please complete the Intent Form by April 14th. Thank Thank you to everyone who has already done this!
Wishing everyone a fantastic and sunny weekend!
Most Sincerely,
Mrs. Hutchins

The Leprechaun
By Josh McDaniels
Hello this is a story about me. I am a leprechaun and I have hid my pot of gold for years and I am writing about this because I want to share why I hide it.but before I share why I hide it I want to tell you about when I was little.
We lived in a small cabin for humans, they are called trees. One day there was a lot of rumbling and a buzzing sound like a saw then our cabin began to fall. That made me furious because they were destroying our homes! I was very upset with humans.
Another event I remember quite clearly was when I was 23. I went to my new pot of gold to find a human with his greedy hands in my pot of gold. He was stuffing his pockets and I was so mad I accidentally put a curse on him.
Finally, when I was 54 a hunter grabbed me and took me into a machine with at that time I didn’t know it was called a “Car”. He put me in a cage and wanted three wishes and I was so mad and eager to ruin his day he ended up going poor after I gave him his wishes. Never ask for money from leprechauns; it is a waste of a wish.
Now let’s get back to the real reason I hid my gold at the end of the rainbow. Humans are hungry for money and will do whatever it takes to get their greedy hands on it, especially Gold. And another reason is that you guys need power, from the ancient ages to the modern ages power in humans eyes it's like giving a dog a treat they love it so much they want more and more.
I also hid my pot of gold at the end of a rainbow because well… there is no end of a rainbow and you people still attempt to find the end of one. People like you guys really crave power right? You people want the wishes to but we are mischievous little creatures you humans have said so, if you wish for a flower we will give you a flower you are allergic to. I have given wishes to people that were too greedy so they wished for money I gave them a 1 dollar bill.
And that about ties up why we hate humans who want our pots of gold so remember if you see a leprechaun stay away from it and its gold
Congratulation to Some Amazing Musicians!
Kaleb, Lewis and Theo participated in an instrumental solo contest. They all three received superior ratings from the judges and represented Fronteras exceptionally well. Congratulations!
