Happy New Year! We were excited to see our students return from winter break and dive right back into learning!
On Monday, we held a rules assembly to review our school rules and recess safety. The students did a great job with this review. The biggest issues on the playground that we are having is students taking other student's clothing from them. For example, removing a boot or a hat and not giving it back to the student. Another issue is a lot of swearing is starting to happen in our 1st-4th grade recesses. Please talk with your child about appropriate language at school. Thank you in advance for your help and support.
Since it is winter, we have seen an increase in students who are sick coming to school. If your child is ill or has a temperature, please keep them home until they are well.
We will be having our Math and Science Night next month so please be on the lookout for more information as it comes forward. We will need some parent volunteers and would appreciate your help and support.
Enjoy your 3 day weekend! There is no school on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
