I would like to warmly invite our Stanley Avenue Community to a fun picnic evening on Wednesday 14th February. Our Board of Trustees will again provide a free sausage sizzle for all in attendance. Additionally, Moosies $2 and Juices $1.50 will be available to buy. So bring your families/whānau along and take part in a range of sports and activities. It will provide students, staff, families/whānau with a chance to reconnect and build relationships. I can’t wait to see you there!

Road Safety- School Crossing
With the start of the school year it is timely to remind all school families that the use of the school crossing is imperative for everyone’s safety. If you are crossing Stanley Avenue Road before and after school, particularly with your children we would appreciate it if you use the crossing. This provides positive role modelling to all students young and old. We thank you for your cooperation on this matter. Please do not take offence if you are asked to use the crossing.
Cycle Safety
A reminder to all parents and caregivers that students cycling to school are required to wear helmets to and from Stanley Avenue School. For students safety it is really important to ensure helmets fit correctly and are in suitable condition. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

Room 9 students had awesome summer holidays at the beach and the pools! They have been very busy creating art using paints, dye, stencils and paper plates to create this neat summer mobile.
Students have also been talking lots about their families and even made them out of playdough. We have also been taking funny photos. Some look like we are falling... can you guess what our next art project is going to be?
