The Falcon Flash
December 2023
Dear Skamania School Families,
In the month of December, we wanted to take a moment to update you on some important events and remind you of the upcoming winter break. We hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits as we enter the holiday season.
Firstly, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the families who attended the singing performance at Skamania Lodge. It was a joyous occasion, and the support and enthusiasm from our community made it even more special. We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and dedication in preparing for this event.
Additionally, we would like to extend our appreciation to all the families who attended the Winter Concert. The talent displayed by our students was truly remarkable, and it was a pleasure to see them shine on stage. Your presence and encouragement meant a lot to them, and we are grateful for your continued support.
Looking ahead, we would like to remind you about the upcoming PTO Winter Wonderland event on December 15. This event promises to be a fun-filled evening for the whole family, with various activities and entertainment planned. We encourage you to mark your calendars and join us for this festive celebration.
Finally, we would like to inform you that the winter break will begin on December 18 and continue through January 1. This break provides an opportunity for our students and staff to recharge and spend quality time with their loved ones. We hope that you all have a wonderful and restful break, filled with joy and laughter.
As always, we are grateful for your continued support and involvement in our school community. We wish you a joyful holiday season and a happy new year.
Warm regards,
Katie Chavarria
