Hendy Happenings
New this year, HHS-TV students are producing a monthly newsmagazine called “Hendy Happenings,” where students cover and report on Henderson sports, clubs, pop culture, and tech tips. Students work together as a team in operating the teleprompter, cameras, writing scripts and using editing software Adobe Premiere and After Effects to create content. The green screen and virtual set are also used in the broadcast studio, creating a professional set for the anchors. Student work from the video production classes is also included in the monthly show. Hendy Happenings is aired once a month to the student body during Warrior Block.

Science Olympiad competition at Cornell
Please help me in congratulating this team for all the effort and hard work! We competed against 53 other teams from across the country, several of which were state champions. This team toured Cornell University including an exclusive high security presentation in the archives and records located 3 stories underground. We saw Mozart original music, Lavoisier’s science notebook and got within 75 ft of an original of the Gettysburg address. On our bus ride home, we live streamed the awards ceremony by connecting to the bus AV system and had an amazing team building experience!
A special shout out to Nishu for incredible leadership and to Manan for placing 15th overall in robot tour. I am so proud of the team! We have 3 more competitions before our March Regional.
