Thank you all for such a great first week! I am so appreciative for your responsiveness to our request for help with school dismissal. I am happy to say that OUR COMMUNITY and OUR STAFF have dismissal down to under 12 minutes from the time we begin. Amazing! Thank you for working with us to ensure a safe dismissal.

Please join us at Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, August 30 at 5:45. We invite you to the gym at 5:45 where we will introduce OUR GRAY HAWK STAFF and share some things to look forward to during the upcoming 22/23 school year. Teachers will offer two informational sessions where parents can learn about the child's classroom teacher and the learning that will occur this year.

Session 2: 6:30

Teachers will present the same information twice to allow parents the flexibility to choose the time to attend. We cannot wait to see you!

Thank you all for showing me grace as I was presenting at the Northern Wisconsin Trauma Conference. There were over 300 educators, service providers, community partners, and law enforcement in attendance participating in discussions about the brain, ways to support dysregulated children, and additional resources to support learning. It was an excellent opportunity to share some of the things that we do at Gray Hawk in thinking about supporting students social and emotional needs.

I wanted to share this video about the importance of OUR GRAY HAWKS developing Self-Regulation Skills.Research has shown that children with better self-regulation skills have higher academic achievement, are more likely to get along with others and are better equipped to build and maintain strong relationships.
