The Line
Know the facts about teen dating violence!
One in three girls in the US is a victim of physical, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner, a figure that far exceeds rates of other types of youth violence.
Only 33% of teens who were in an abusive relationship ever told anyone about the abuse.

Healthy, unhealthy, or abusive- where does the relationship fall?
Relationships aren't clear cut- they exist on a spectrum from healthy to abusive, with unhealthy somewhere in the middle. Where a relationship falls on this spectrum can also change with time. You and your child can use this tool below to evaluate his/her relationship, and talk about ways to move closer to the healthy end of the spectrum.
I know the facts...now what?
Below are helpful tips and starter questions to use when talking with your child. You can also use the Healthy Relationship Quiz to help your child evaluate his/her relationship.
