It has been a privilege to serve the Stevenson Community for the past 7 years. Every student and every family has helped to grow and shape our community, which is why it is so hard to say goodbye.
The 2021-2022 school year will be my final year at Stevenson. My family and I are moving back to Oregon to be closer to family. While this was a difficult decision, we know it is the right one for our family.
I know the next principal will continue the work we have done to make Stevenson the top HISD Middle School in the east area and one of the top Middle Schools in the district.
Mr. Ben Hernandez, School Support Officer, will be holding a community meeting to gather input on what you want in your next principal. The meeting will take place in the Stevenson cafeteria on Monday, June 13th at 5:00 PM. All community members are welcome.
