Last week, more than 150 of our high school students from Westlake High School, Thousand Oaks High, Newbury Park High and Conejo Valley High, completed a financial literacy program Bite of Reality® at a special event hosted and led by community partner Logix Federal Credit Union. Students learned how to carefully spend and budget in the future via the Bite of Reality app exercise that simulates a real-life experience, complete with financial decisions, bills, and even credit scores. Thank you Logix for this great, hands-on learning experience for our scholars!
