Principal's Message
Dear Bobcat Families,
Last Wednesday was the kick off assembly for our only fundraiser of the school year, Step it Up. Students learned about the fundraiser goal, incentive prizes and got excited about helping our school earn money. Each student went home with more information on how they can participate. In addition, two emails have been sent with more information. Students can still turn in Golden Tickets in the front office through Thursday, October 12, 2023. The last prize raffle drawing will take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. The deadline to turn in money for the fundraiser is October 18th. Thank you in advance for supporting BJH!
Congratulations to our September Students of the Month. The focus for September was positive attitude. Please click HERE to access the Student of the Month list.
This week is the last week of Hispanic Heritage Month. Monday, October 9th will be a Hot Cheeto give away during lunch. In addition, students will play Loteria on Thursday during lunch. Friday, music will be played to wrap up Hispanic Heritage Month.
Coffee with the Principal will be this Wednesday, October 11th at 5:00. Parents may join via Zoom or in person. PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA)
- PTA is sponsoring the Fall Dance on October 19th (6:00-8:00 pm.). The theme is Roaring 20's. Pre sale ticket go on sale Monday, October 9th. Since there is no school for students on October 13th, the last day for pre sale tickets will be Thursday, October 12, 2023. As with any school dance, dress code applies. The top QR code (page 2 of the flyer) has a link that provides written reminders about what is considered appropriate dress for BJH students. The document even has pictures that serve as examples. In addition, there is a QR code that links directly to the school dress code. Please see the flyer below for additional details. We need volunteers for the dance.
