The Core
November 18, 2022, Volume 14, Issue 14
Hello Parents and Guardians,
Yay, it's been a bit of a haul topped up with some chill and snow but we've made it! I'm so proud of our staff, they've been really stretched but they come each day ready to teach and support our students. I'm guessing teachers will be running on fumes for our upcoming parent conferences but are all happy to see you.
Speaking of conferences, we know you don't get in the building much so feel free to walk around and check the building out. And don't forget our Lost & Found - everything must go!
Please check out our Thankful Giving Letter for families in need. Any donation would be appreciated, the link in the letter is live.
Have a good Thanksgiving vacation - we are so thankful for your support! Take some time to read with your child.

The Annual Cookie Extravaganza is back! The teachers and staff have missed those home-baked cookies for the last few years, but this year, the beloved cookie exchange is back. Sign up on Konstella or email Kristen (kristen.rajewski@gmail.com) or Jacqueline (jacqueline.drouin@gmail.com) to bring in a dozen cookies on the morning of December 9th.
What do I bake?? Bake whatever you'd like– it can be simple or extravagant! Home-baked goods are preferred.
**Baking something vegan, gluten-free, or nut free? Listing your ingredients and any special care taken is much appreciated by staff with allergies and sensitivities.
International Night: Thursday, December 15th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Families are invited to share what is special about their favorite countries, whether it’s where your family is from or a special place you’ve visited. Posters, photographs, flags, traditional dress, artwork, music, and of course food for sampling are all suggested items (it is no problem to have multiple tables from the same country – that regularly happens and it is great to include a variety of experiences). Please consider bringing a simple dish to serve at your own country table!
SIGN UP via Konstella or be on the lookout for a paper sign up sheet!
