It has been a great week!
Below are a few things to put on your radar...
- We would like to give a special thank you to the PTA for planning a fantastic Walk/Roll to School event on Wednesday! It was wonderful to see all our Westgate wolverines and families walking and rolling to school!
- We have Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday and Friday of next week. We hope that you will join us, and don't forget to stop by the Book Fair in the LMC!
Coming Next Week-Fall Book Fair!
Please stop in to the LMC during conferences to browse our Anderson's Book Fair. Your support will help us grow our collection and allow us to bring in celebrated authors and illustrators for FREE! If you want a sneak peek at some of the available titles, check out this link. We are also looking for some volunteers. If you have any time available to help us, we would really appreciate it. Just add your name to the schedule in the time slot(s) that work best for you. Thank you so much for supporting the Westgate Library!

Calling all 2nd and 3rd Grade Mathematicians!
Join us for our first-ever math team! We will practice and compete in the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC). The goal of the NLMC competition is to encourage young students’ interest in math, to develop their problem-solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math. We will have two practice sessions before the Fall Contest and two practices before the Spring Contest. During the contests, students are given 45 minutes to solve 20 problems. The contest will be a paper format. Problems are designed to challenge students and enrich their problem-solving experiences. This year, students in grades 2/3 can participate at Westgate.
