Cheerleading
If you see one of our cheerleaders this week, wish them good luck as they will participate in the District XI Competitive Spirit Championships on Saturday at Easton High School. They have worked hard all year to get to this point.
Swimming
The swim team had a relatively light Holiday schedule but in its one competition prevailed over Central Catholic. The boys continued to have solid dual meet success, but in this event the girls capitalized in the last 2 events to pick up the big win.
Wrestling
The highlight of the wrestling schedule to date was the participation in the very tough Bethlehem Holiday Classic at Liberty High School. Congratulations are in order to sophomores James Hopkins, who finished 7th, and Wilmont Kai, who finished 3rd. Wilmont lost his first match of the tournament and came back to win 6 consecutive matches to finish 3rd. This is a phenomenally difficult task. Kudos to Wilmont. The team gets back in to competition on Saturday at the Indian Duals at Lehighton High School.
