Fall Picture Day information
Friday, September 29th is school picture day.
National Walk to School Day- Oct. 4th
Calling all students, parents, and grandparents! Lace up your running shoes and join us for this fun national event. We will be leaving the Eagle Lake parking lot at 7:25 sharp. We can’t wait to see you there!

Advanced Academic Services will be sharing the PRELIMINARY Parent Referral spreadsheets soon!
Please cross-reference the referral spreadsheet with the Teacher Recommendations to see if parents have submitted their student information
The Preliminary spreadsheet is view only and will not be able to be sorted
As more parent referrals come in, the spreadsheet will automatically be updated
Parents have until Nov. 7, 2023, to complete the Parent Survey. Refer to column Y on the Preliminary Spreadsheet to see which parents have completed the survey.
Gifted & Talented Referral Window
Sept. 1 - 30, 2023
Testing takes place Oct. 16 - Nov. 18
Parents will be notified Dec. 15
Services for identified students begin Jan.

- 5th Grade Veterans Program is Nov. 9 at 6:30. All students involved. If your student wants a special part (singer, speaker, dancer, hold a poster/flag) please fill out the google form here. Auditions in class next week. Questions? Email aabbottbross1@kleinisd.net
- 5th Grade Fee for shirts and memory books is on https://benignus.ptboard.com/. $35 for a shirt and soft cover book; $45 for a shirt and hard cover book. Orders due Oct. 5. Fall Break
Fall Break is coming soon. We are hoping for some Fall weather for our Fall Break😄 Fall Break is the week of October 9-13. Benignus will be closed all week.
Fall Festival- Oct. 26
Fall Festival Sign Up Genius: We need your help to make this Fall Festival the best ever!
The Fall Festival will be 4:30-6:00 in the Benignus Gym. Come dressed in your favorite costume with your own candy bag. We will have Italian ice and Gelato for sale. Come ready to have fun with games, dancing and more!!!
Storybook Character Book Parade
We are having our annual storybook character parade on Thursday, October 26. Parents are welcome to attend. The parade will start at 9:00 am. All leopards are encouraged to dress up as their favorite book character, please remember to bring the book your character is in. Leopards need to wear appropriate costumes and shoes. No weapons are permitted with the costumes.
