Plans for Building and District Professional Learning activities for January 3 and 4 are coming together.

January 3 AM- Educator Preparation (may be flexed)

January 3 PM- Building Focused Professional Learning

January 4 AM- District Focused Professional Learning

• Please be sure to look for communication from your grade level or content area contact for additional information!!

January 4 PM- Job-Embedded- Focus on Standard 6

• You can download a document to record your data and reflections for Standard 6 from the Frontline File Library if you do not have a summative evaluation this year.
• Look for the document called Student Performance Results Log.

The Culture Setter Course- Cohort 4

• In-Person Dates (January 30, February 20, March 5, March 19)
• In-Person Times: 4:30-6:30pm

BIG3 Learning Sessions

EPIC Learning Series

• Though designed for educators new to Olathe, the sessions are open to anyone wanting to dive into the topics offered. Click here to access the EPIC Learning Series page.

Attending out-of-district activities requires prior approval in the following circumstances:

• The activity occurs during your contract day and requires a substitute or you are requesting professional leave to attend.
• You are requesting that the district provide funding for registration, travel, or other expenses.

If you are requesting professional leave or funding, you will need to contact your department director, coordinator, or facilitator or your building administrator to discuss the opportunity. Use the CERT: Out of Dist Prof Act form in Frontline to submit your request. Please submit your request at least 4 weeks prior to the activity. Points earned for an approved activity for which the district provides funding or professional leave will be purposed for relicensure only.
