Women of STEM at Georgia Tech
Here we are at the Tech Tower, and we went by the lab of Raider graduate Will Stevens. He is a sophomore and is doing undergraduate research in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. He was generous to offer to show us his lab and describe his research to the girls.
My heart was full sharing my alma mater with our Women in STEM. 😊

Senior Dues: All payments must be made online at https://www.3rdascent.com. Pricing will be $150 until December 31st, 2023. On January 1st, dues will increase to $175 to incur a late fee. Seniors will be able to pick up their cap/gown before the senior picnic on April 24th.
Graduation: Please note that graduation is on Monday, May 20th at 7PM at Gas South Arena. Once the portal for graduation announcements has opened, we will share that through the newsletter for families to order.
Senior Letters: We will be continuing our new tradition of collecting senior letters for the Class of 2024. We will start collecting these letters in January 2024 through April 2024. We will send out more concrete information soon, but wanted to give families a heads up that we will be offering this special opportunity for parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, and former teachers to write to their seniors again this year. Seniors will get the opportunity to open letters with their friends at the end of the year during a Senior Sunset event on May 15th.

ROTC Rifle Team Competition
In a recent marksmanship match between NFHS MCJROTC and Glynn Academy MCJROTC, Ayanna Rubio demonstrated her incredible marksmanship prowess.
Ayanna achieved her highest score of the season; an impressive 590.9 out of a possible 600! Her precision and dedication to her craft are truly commendable.
As a committed JROTC cadet, Ayanna has set the bar high and continues to inspire her teammates and fellow cadets. We couldn't be prouder of this young lady's remarkable achievements. This was a very close match between these two Precision teams and Glynn Academy bested the Raiders by only 23 points. Final score: Glynn Academy 2070.1 and North Forsyth: 2047.2
Also contributing in the match for the Raiders was Junior Logan Creviston with 517.8, Sophomore Jon Howell with 498.5, and Senior Bryson McCracken with 440.1
