Last Week at Builta:

  • Our school practiced our fire and ALICE lockdown drills. Students did a great job following teachers' directions and procedures. This week, we will hold our official drills with the Bolingbrook Fire on Monday and Bolingbrook Police Department on Tuesday.
  • We had Picture Day on Thursday. Thank you to our parent volunteers who helped students make smooth transitions from their classrooms to the picture station.
  • On Friday students and teachers participated in Rec Day with the Fox Valley Park District. Students had a great time learning games that they can use during recess time. I would like to thank our parent volunteers who were able to come support this day of fun.


This Week at Builta

  • 9/18: Official Fire Drill with Bolingbrook Fire Department
  • 9/19: Official Lockdown with the Bolingbrook Police Department


Upcoming Dates at Builta

We have many fun activities planned for families. This is not a drop off event as all the activities are for families to do together.

  • 10/9: No School Indigenous People's Day/Columbus Day

4th & 5th Grade Chorus

Builta Holiday/Cultural Display Sign Up 23-24

Builta School has provided our families with opportunities to share a little about themselves, by putting together displays that represent our families' cultural and holiday celebrations. If you are interested in signing up to decorate the front office hallway display casefor an upcoming holiday or cultural recognition, please click on the blue link and complete the form. Builta Fall Book Fair

The fall book fair is coming in one week!!!


The fair will run from 9.26-9.29. The Book Fair will also be open during Wellness Night on September 28 from 5:30 pm - 7:45 pm.


Parents can also shop online at https://efairs.literati.com/ and purchase gift cards for the kids to use at the school fair.

Team Builta Running for Builta School and the IPEF

On October 22, Builta is happy to have the following student, parents and staff members participate in the Naperville 5K/Half Marathon: Aleena Arain (Student), Mr. Arain (Parent), Mrs. Johnston (Teacher) , Mrs. Arun Kumar (Parent) and Mrs. Pagano (Staff Member) to raise funds for Builta School and the Indian Prairie Education Foundation (IPEF).


We have several ways for Builta students and families to help support the fundraising efforts of the Builta runners.
