September 24, 2023
Greetings Shenandoah Valley Families,
Thank you to everyone that attended our first PTO Community meeting of the year last week. Our PTO Executive Board did an amazing job of planning and facilitating the meeting. We are looking forward to all of the fun events! Thank you also to our PTO DEI Committee for creating the beautiful bulletin board for Hispanic Heritage Month!
In exciting news, we have new cafeteria tables, and the kids love them!!! Also, please check out the updates and reminders section for the new Counselor's Corner newsletter brought to you by the fabulous Mr. Ryan and Ms. Smith.
Don't forget Fall Picture Day is September 27. October 2 will be Cardinal's Spirit Day!
Have an amazing week!
Sincerely,
Dr. Terri Politte

Read, Right, Run
Looking for a fun way to get active, read some books, and spread kindness? Join the Read, Right, Run Program at Shenandoah! The program is led by our PE teachers and Teacher volunteers! We will meet once a month, on Fridays, at school from 8:00-8:50 a.m., October through March. On April 6, we will celebrate our hard work by doing a 1 mile run at Forest Park with the other schools at the Read, Right, Run Event!
If you would like to sign your child/children) up, please use the link below. The last day to sign-up is September 26. Any families that participate in Free & Reduced Lunch Program qualify for a discount code. You may get that code by emailing Coach Allen: nallen3@parkwayschools.net.
