• FAMILY / TEACHER CONFERENCES - Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 4:00 -7:00 we will be hosting our conferences in-house. Please join us to speak to your scholar's teacher face to face. If this time does not work please contact your teacher to arrange another avenue for the conference. We appreciate working with you to empower your scholar for success.

• TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK - This week across the nation schools are celebrating the teachers and staff of all schools. We are honored to have such dedicated professionals here at Greater Heights Academy who every day put Children First to educate Scholars to become STAR. (Scholar Taking Academic Responsibility). Please reach out to your scholar's teacher and thank them for their unselfish work.

• THANK YOU TACOP BELL - We want to thank TACO BELL for their generous donation of TACOS for the entire school on MAy 5, 2023 (Cinco de Mayo)

• NWEA TESTING - We will begin our NWEA testing on May 16, 2023, in all grades. This will give the scholar, parents/guardians, and teachers the opportunity to see the growth in the core subjects of Math and English. We urge you to support your scholar to do their best in this assessment and help them take it as an opportunity to grow.

• S.T.A.R. Leadership TEAM - The Scholars Taking Academic Responsibility (S.T.A.R.) Leadership Team is a group of scholars that have been chosen by their high NWEA scores to continue their studies into proficiency. We meet on Mondays from 3:30 -5:00. Each scholar was chosen to be part of this elite tutoring group to help them in their upcoming MSTEP and NWEA tests as well as build leadership skills.
  

• TUTORING: Tutoring for all scholars will be offered during our afterschool enrichment program in April and May. If you wish your scholar to be part of the tutoring program please reach out to the front office to submit your scholar's name. This free program is part of the Afterschool Enrichment program and runs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:00.

• AFTERSCHOOL ENRICHMENT / SPORTS - We will be going into our 3rd session for our afterschool program when we return after the Spring Break. More details to follow.
  

• Track Team - We began our GHA track team with Coach JC. Practice is after school from 3:30 - 5:00. Our scholars will compete against other schools and learn the basics of the Track Team World.
