Stallion Scoop
September 2022 Edition
Principal's Message
I apologize for the delay in sending the September Stallion Scoop. I was out sick last week and this is the first chance I have had to send the newsletter. Thank you for understanding.
Fall is an exciting time at SPE! September and October are the some of busiest months of the year at SPE. Please read the Stallion Scoop carefully as there are lots of activities for kids and families.
Thank you to all of the parents who attended the SPE Academy. The teachers put in many hours to ensure you were well-informed to be able to help your child this school year. Please take the time to leave us feedback about SPE Academy below. If you didn't attend, please take the time to let us know why. This feedback will help us with future communication and improving SPE Academy next year. If you were unable to attend or would like a refresher of the information, there will be a link to the information in the October Stallion Scoop.
Your Partner in Education,
Brooke Nolte, Principal

Attendance Awareness
September is Attendance Awareness Month! Too many absences, even excused, can keep students from succeeding in school and in life. Missing just 2 days a month means a child misses 10% of the school year. Absences add up! It is important that your child is at school every day.
Every Friday, we will celebrate by dressing up and the class with the highest percentage of attendance will have a popcorn party.
School Uniforms
Please review the 22-23 School Uniform Policy for complete uniform information. Field Day t-shirts and old club shirts can not be worn to school. All jackets must be solid navy blue or an SPE school jacket.
Spirit wear is on sale, including jackets and sweatshirts. Orders have been extended until Friday, September 16th. This is our last order of the school year. Orders will be delivered to the school. Click here to order.
Yearbook Pictures
Yearbook pictures will be taken on September 28th. All students will wear their school uniforms. Harrington House is Stockwell’s official photographer.
See the flyer below for ordering information.
