2nd & 3rd Grade Music Concert on Monday!

Valerius 2nd & 3rd graders will present their Fall Concert, Pajama Party, at UHS Performing Arts Center! Your student is encouraged to dress in their Favorite Pajamas for the concert. Listed below is the start time for each grades performance. Your student needs to be at the PAC 15 minutes before their start time.

2nd grade performance starts at 6:00pm (students arrive at 5:45pm)
3rd grade performance starts at 7:00pm (students arrive at 6:45pm)

End of Day Dismissal Updates

We are making a few adjustments for the dismissal process to alleviate some of the congestion at the front of the building.

Please keep your children close to you while waiting near the turf so staff can more easily help students locate their parents. Several students are currently running around each day creating a chaotic and congested space.
Half of the bike racks will be moved next to the ramp at the front of the school so bikers aren't having to weave through so much pedestrian traffic on sidewalks. This will take effect on Monday, Nov. 20th (see picture attached).

Parents/Guardians please communicate with student each day how your student will get home and reiterate the importance of going directly home. Thank you for partnering with us to keep all students safe.

Snacks & Treats

Treats that are to be shared with the entire class for celebratory reasons (birthday treats) are required to meet the Smart Snacks in Schools Nutritional Guidelines.

Attendance

This graphic shows that our full day student body attendance has decreased slightly from the month of October to thus far in November. Our goal is to have the highest attendance in the district, so let's get that number back up!

Exciting News Valerius- Friday and FINAL Coins for a Cause totals are in! Valerius has raised $2,646.56 total for books!

3rd grade was not going to be outdone on this final day of the Valerius Coins for the Cause challenge. They showed up with an amazing $332.03 during the ANY coin ANY dollar day! Way to go 3rd graders!!!

Now for the TOTAL at the end of this amazing week- every single grade did a fantastic job and everyone should be so proud of the giving spirit in Valerius.

Let’s hear it for Preschool- $93.08, Kindergarten- $333.69, 1st grade- $651.61, 2nd Grade- $506.02, 3rd grade- $591.18, 4th grade- $251.86 and 5th grade- $219.12!!!

Congratulations goes to 1st grade for being our overall highest giving grade level this week with a total of $651.61!

Visitors - ID Required!

Visitors must report to the main office, sign-in upon arrival, provide a U.S. government-issued ID for scanning into the Raptor system , and then receive a visitor’s sticker which you will be required to wear during your stay.
