We have seen a massive increase in our tardies lately. Please make every to effort have your students to school on time each day. Our front doors open at 7:15 am and there is typically not a line for the first 40 minutes or so.

In order to help the car line flow, please DO NOT get out of your vehicle to unload your student. We have safety patrol and front porch staff until 8:00 to help with this. If you need to assist your child, please park in a parking space.

Our campus wide intervention/enrichment time starts at 8:00 am and many students are missing this time due to tardies.

Thank you for your help with this.

When it is raining, our car line slows down and we do push back our tardy time on those mornings.

Updated Cell Phone Policy

The Conroe ISD Board adopted new guidelines regarding student cell phone use during the October Board meeting. While it is not a substantial guideline change at the elementary level, there are changes in which parents need to be aware. Our Foundations team is working to ensure that these procedures are being implemented on our campus and that we are helping students adapt to these changes. The student handbook is currently being updated to reflect these changes. The new guidelines state the following:

Cell phones and smartwatches may be used respectfully and responsibly before school and after school.
Cell phones and smartwatches should not be used to capture video, audio, or images at school or on the bus.
Cell phones and smartwatches should be set on silent mode and kept in backpacks, lockers, or other designated storage areas and should not be visible during school hours including instructional time, reward time, free time, lunch, and in the hallways.
Use of cell phones and smartwatches may be permitted in extenuating circumstances with permission from a staff member. (ex. to notify parent/ guardian of a late bus)

Hearing and Vision referrals are being sent home as needed. Please check your child's backpack. If you have any concerns after receiving a referral, please contact Nurse Green.

Cleaning out the closet? The Giesinger clinic would appreciate your donation of gently used clothing for students in need of an unexpected clothing change during the day.

Golden Girls Winter Workshop

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year Again….

The Conroe High School Golden Girls are hosting their beloved Winter Workshop!!!

On Saturday, December 2nd from 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM, all children ages Pre-K through 6th Grade are welcome to join us for a fun filled day of Dancing, a Snack, a Craft, a T-Shirt, and a Bow followed by a performance of their routines at 11:30 PM in the New Gym!

Use this as your Parents Day Out for brunch before the Holidays, OR as a time to finish some last minute shopping at the Conroe Christmas Fair!

Attendance Matters

Being at school each day is important and when students are absent, they miss out on valuable instruction. Every instructional minute matters! Please send your students to school when they are not sick. Vacations should be scheduled during our long breaks.
