Theater Arts News
We are so proud to announce that our one act play, written by our very own John Bowles, will be advancing to the district level competition this Saturday. Several of our company members received awards. There are limited awards offered to students throughout all five shows in the competition.
Congratulations go to:
Celia Weir- Honorable Mention All Star Cast
Grayson Rash- All Star Cast
Thienn Peterson- Best Performer
Mary Shammas- Best Technician
Our company also received Best Set Design. This award was accepted by Mika Yanez for all of her hard work on the props and set dressing as our Props Master.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way! We are so very proud of the students and the work that they have poured into this production. You can still catch us this weekend at Rouse HS for the district competition at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Love and Logic Classes at RBMS
This six-week program is designed to help parents nurture responsible, respectful, fun-to-be-around children who will learn how to make their own choices, own their problems, think critically and logically for themselves, while parents let empathy and consequences do the teaching. The course is appropriate for parents with any aged child and any situation: home, school or even work. The series is open to any parent. Visit the Love and Logic site (https://www.loveandlogic.com/) or attend a free introductory session for more information about their philosophy.
The cost is $35 per person or $55 per couple (if sharing materials). Scholarships are available.
