Dear Catholic East Families,

We had a great week back at school after our Thanksgiving break! Students in 1st - 8th grade are being sent home with their report cards today. Report cards are yours to keep; please sign the envelope and return it with your scholar.

Our basketball teams play this weekend; 5th & 6th Grade Boys and Girls play Saturday morning at Eastbrook Academy at 9:00am and 11:00am and the 7th & 8th Grade Boys play Sunday evening at 5:00pm at Saint Monica.

I also wanted to bring to your attention that there is a stomach bug circulating among the students at school. We are closely monitoring the situation, but it's essential for us to work together to minimize its spread. Please take a moment to remind your scholars about the importance of thorough handwashing, especially before meals and after using the restroom. If your scholar exhibits any symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or stomach discomfort, please keep them at home to prevent further transmission.

Support our CEE Cheer & Dance Team by purchasing Christmas Candy Grams! Candy Grams will be sold during lunch time at SSPP by the Cheer & Dance Team. Any parents who would like to purchase one for their scholars at HR may do so as well by sending it back to school with their scholar. Candy Grams are $1 each and all proceeds go to the CEE Cheer & Dance Team. All purchases must be made by Friday December 15th.

Spirit Week will be January 7th - 11th, 2024! to participate scholars must purchase a $5 dress down pass by Friday, December 15. All proceeds will go to the CEE Cheer & Dance Team. Scholars can enjoy Pajama Day, Decade Day, Favorite Sports Team Day, Dress to Impress & CEE Spirit!

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Holiday Fun Night is a night for our scholars and their families to have fun making edible treats, various crafts and take pictures with Santa. The purpose of this event is to build bridges with our families while having fun. On behalf of Communio & Iustitia we would like to ask our families to volunteer and donate the items that are needed for the stations.

Home and School will be hosting "Cookies with St. Nick" on Saturday, December 2nd at 9:00am. Join us for cookie decorating and a visit from St. Nick! It will be hosted in the Holy Rosary Cafeteria. RSVP Here!
