Early Voting Continues Through May 2
The Town of Sunnyvale will hold an election May 6, 2023 to elect a Mayor and two Town Council Members for Places 3 and 4. The Mayor’s term is for a period of two years. Council Member terms are for a period of three years. Candidates and positions are as follows:

Mark Eldridge – unopposed
Early voting is available Monday, April 24 through Tuesday May 2 at Sunnyvale Town Hall, 127 N. Collins Road. Times are as follows:
- April 28 - 29 (Friday – Saturday) 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- April 30 (Sunday) Noon to 6 p.m.
- May 1 – 2 (Monday and Tuesday) 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day voting will be conducted at Sunnyvale Town Hall Saturday, May 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Movies in the Moonlight - New Location Due to Weather!!
Our family night at the movies is moving indoors and starting a little earlier tonight due to the rainy forecast.
New location - Sunnyvale High School Cafeteria, 222 Collins Road
For your entertainment we will be showing a double feature of School House Rock and Minions: The Rise of Gru! Doors open at 6 p.m. The show begins at 6:30 p.m.

Application Deadline Extended to May 19
The deadline to apply for Sunnyvale’s Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) has been extended to May 19.
If you have a vision for the future business and development in Sunnyvale, your Town needs your leadership. The Town Council seeks EDAC members with experience in various areas, such as education, real estate, industry, health care, non-profit and more.

Oncor Tree Trimming
Over the next two weeks, contractors working on behalf of Oncor will be trimming trees along Collins Road to ensure they do not interfere with power lines. If you have any questions, please contact Oncor at 1-800-518-2375.

Join the Sunnyvale Garden Club for a special Earth Day story time at the Doris Padgett Public Library on Wednesday, May 3 at 10:30 a.m.!
After story time, there will be crafts where patrons can take home flowers to plant, generously donated by Calloway’s Nursery.

Tickets are still available for Fiesta for the Library on Friday, May 5. You must buy tickets in advance at the Library! Tickets will NOT be available at the door of the event on May 5.
